Hi everyone. To start this blog off I would like to introduce myself. My name is Marissa, I have never done blogging before and just decided to give it a go. I am a stay at home mom to my one year old son and my husband is a merchant marine. Not many people know what I mean when I say “merchant marine”.. He works on big cargo ships that go across the world, its a pretty cool job. I don’t know many people who have husbands that do this kind of work and sometimes that is pretty lonely. That is one reason I wanted to start this blog, I am hoping to meet fellow #sailorwives. In future blog posts I will talk about a variety of things. We just recently bought our forever home and I have a few projects I am hoping to share with you guys, as well as the moving process… stay tuned
